And one thing I realized now. As I am in Fedora not Debian based ones.

And flathub is completely compartmentalized. So, It doesn't have the power to swap crond with the malicious crond.

I did convert .deb to .rpm using alien. But since it was last month. I should be getting the right package. Even then it failed during installed.

So, I guess. I am fine. But the output of the script is making me paranoid that I am infected

The affected linux packages used the crond to run their malware actions.

I checked the crond for scheduled tasks. Nothing else apart from Brave browser and system's power management.

As I understood, I stopped the process and checked using the script again. No signs of infection found. So, Basically false positive. I think they should make the script to locate that specific crond (scheduled task) than seeing the crond as a whoel.
